At NEABIO, we are convinced that our success depends on the quality of our relationships with our partner producers and service providers.

One of the pillars of Neabio is its sourcing department, which plays a crucial role. It works closely with the technicians and agronomic engineers in the quality department, and ensures that each selected partner shares our values and our commitment to sustainable and responsible processes. Together, they form a team dedicated to finding and selecting the best producers, and supporting them in adopting new agricultural and logistical practices.

Our sourcing department is attentive to trends and customer expectations, and also works hand in hand with our sales department to identify opportunities and establish rigorous selection criteria. These criteria include:

  • Producers' ability to develop while complying with organic standards and various certifications
  • New sustainable practices: varietal innovation, optimisation of growing techniques and integration of sustainable logistics solutions
  • A strong commitment to food quality and safety.

In addition to these technical aspects, NEABIO values partnerships with producers and service providers who fully share our values of environmental and social responsibility and sustainability.

We are also mindful of reducing our ecological impact. In order to do so, we adopt new strategies, and choose packaging manufacturers that comply with the specific eco-responsibility legislation of each country to which our products are despatched.

In line with our responsible actions, we seek out and work with environmentally-friendly transport companies, ensuring that they adopt sustainable practices such as reducing CO2 emissions.

NEABIO ‘s key innovations is the concept of ’production layering'. By coordinating the different production areas, we offer you the widest possible range of products throughout the year. This approach levels out production periods and ensures constant product availability.

This overall organisation enables us to meet the specific needs of our customers, market demands and the challenges of tomorrow's organic market.

Our Quality Department ensures that all Neabio's activities are controlled and monitored to meet certifications such as IFS (International Featured Standards), GlobalGAP CoC (Chain of Custody), as well as specific organic certifications, Biosuisse and Demeter.

Our Quality Department guarantees that our producers' practices meet our requirements in terms of quality, sustainability and social responsibility by carrying out regular visits and audits. These controls enable us to guarantee that our products are grown and processed in accordance with recognised standards.

All this work guarantees the traceability, food safety, sustainability and quality of our products at every stage of the production chain. We are committed to supplying organic products that meet the most stringent requirements.

NEABIO has also invested in an eco-designed platform to match its ambitions and commitment to sustainable, environmentally-friendly practices. Our platform is a true showcase for our commitment to green innovation and efficiency. It features:

Advanced storage capacity: we have 10,000 m2 of cold storage. This ensures that fresh organic fruit and vegetables are delivered to your stalls, as well as 27 loading bays for a fast and efficient flow of goods, minimising waiting times and interruptions in the supply chain.

Cutting-edge refrigeration technology: we use a refrigeration production system based on the use of the 1234Ze refrigerant fluid, renowned for its low environmental impact, in conjunction with a plant-based heat transfer fluid to ensure optimum energy efficiency and respect for the environment.

Modern workspaces: our platform also comprises 1,000 m2 of modern office space, providing a comfortable and inspiring working environment for our team. These spaces have been designed to encourage teamwork, innovation and well-being, which are essential to NEABIO's continued growth.

Capitalising on renewable energy: our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint led to the installation of photovoltaic panels for our consumption. This installation enables us to produce 40% of the electricity we need to run our operations.
